Our Ministry

At House of Zion, faith and service go hand in hand.
We are dedicated to uplifting individuals and families through both spiritual growth and practical support.
We believe that sharing the message of hope and compassion is just as important as providing food, clothing, and resources to those in need.

Guided by God, we are committed to spreading encouragement, understanding, and unity within the community. Through sermons, prayer gatherings, and outreach events, we seek to nurture faith-based growth and offer guidance founded in love and kindness. Whether it’s through weekly teachings, youth and family ministry sessions, or community prayer circles, our goal is to nurture a stronger spiritual foundation, one that empowers individuals to live with purpose, resilience, and compassion toward others.

School Supplies Donations
- NOW ACCEPTING ITEMS -

We are now welcoming donations of new or gently used school supplies to help students start the school year prepared and confident.

We are especially in need of notebooks, folders, backpacks, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, binders, and other classroom essentials for students of all ages.

We are also accepting calculators, art supplies, lunch boxes, and other educational materials to support children and families in our community.

Clothing Drive Donations
- NOW ACCEPTING ITEMS -

Upcoming Events

We welcome new or gently used clothing, personal care items, and more to help bring warmth and relief to those in need.

We are especially in need of winter clothing for men, women, and young children including coats, sweaters, gloves, hats, and blankets.

We are also accepting baby clothing and items to help parents in need.

News

We are so grateful for the opportunity to give back to the Woodburn community and families in the surrounding towns through our recent School Supplies Drive! Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, we were able to collect and distribute essential school supplies to more than 75 children. From notebooks and pencils to other classroom essentials, these supplies will help local students head into the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

We were honored to host the distribution at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Woodburn, Oregon, whose welcoming space helped make this event possible. Families from Woodburn and neighboring communities came together to receive supplies and connect with others in the community.

This drive was about more than school supplies, it was about reminding local families that they are supported and that our community cares about the success of its children.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, helped organize, and shared this effort. Your generosity made a meaningful difference for more than 75 young students and their families.

Together, we are helping our local children start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. Thank you for being part of our community and for helping us make a difference!
